Fisherman's Catch

I grew up in a very hard life situation. My deceased father was a fisherman and my mother when she was able was a housewife or sometimes accepting labor jobs like washing clothes, cleaning houses and more. Even so, I’m forever grateful that despite it all they sent me to school and of course my brothers and sisters as well.
Yes, fishing was not new to me, in fact, I experienced it as well. Floated in the middle of deep and nothing monstrous sea; Dried under the unshedding heat of the sun and sometimes frozen wet from the evening rain. It was hard, it’s not just like that, maybe it was kind of unfair to see people living in luxury. Well, that was jealous of me long ago because of the hardship in life, my apologies.
Anyhow, let’s stop about the life I had before because what’s important is the present anyway and yeah, seldom, I could see fishermen. So, once in a while it’s nice to see one as looking back to the past. Remembering the past is a good way to inspire us to have a better future.

This fisherman caught a fish, sadly I didn’t witness him arriving at the shore while paddling. What made me sad as well is not having a photograph of him doing so. Still, I was thankful to be there when he was taking and when he left it on the boat.

When you live near the sea, obviously, this is a common sight. Most people can be found are fishermen, well, it’s pretty obvious of course.

This man was a fisherman as well, though this time he was cleaning his own catch. We talked a little bit and he said he went early. There was no good catch, when he was hungry he decided to go home instead.

I learned that he would eat it raw but of course with spices, like vinegar, onion and ginger. This kind of food is very delicious when sitting down at the shore while enjoying the view.
