Fishing at a beautiful lake

Dear Hive people,

Here I want to share with you yet another fishing experience as well as some beautiful picture of a lake where I tried my luck to catch some perch. Come with me and enjoy.

I arrived around 7am at the lake and wanted to use the cooler evening hours to catch some nice perch. As I arrived I was welcomed by a nice few and pleasant temperature.

The water of the lake had a nice color to it and the surrounding a heavy green.

The water was amazingly clear and I was tempted to just jump inside for a nice refreshing swim. But I was here for another reason so I scratched that thought and went on to find a nice spot to try my luck with the perch.

On the more shady spots you had an amazing reflection on the water. Even it was not very calm due to a slight breeze of wind, the reflection was mirror like.

Some nice wild raspberries growing along the water the taste was still a little bit sour but refreshing and pure at the same time.

Finally I arrived on the spot where I wanted to fish. Between the place where I stand and the little island is usually a good spot for perch.

So now it was time to get my fishing rod ready and start fishing. O tried my new bullet lure with only one hook first.

I was not to successful at my first couple of casts. But I enjoyed being here anyway and took some nice picture of this flower in the meantime.

I decided to change my lure to a more reliable 3gramm drilling spinner. Which turned out to be the right decision.

At the first cast with this new lure I caught this little guy here. He was a pretty guy but rather small so I let him go immediately. But I was happy to had a small success at least.

I had a couple more casts before another break to take some pictures of my awesome surrounding.

The water was so clear that I could see my lure in the water pretty good and sometimes even saw some perch chasing it.

At the end I gave up the fishing and just enjoyed the nature around me.

After the sunset it was time for me to call it a day and I head back home.

It is quite impressive how much being in nature calms you down and let you forgot about all the stress of work and what else troubles you in live. I hope I can come back here soon.
