There's something sacred about the act of making coffee. It's more than a drink—it’s a ritual, a pause, a gesture of love. In these photos, my uncle becomes the quiet protagonist, carefully preparing that small but meaningful cup that starts the day or salva una tarde pesada.

The close-up of his hands tells its own story: the years, the care, the patience. Hands that have worked, given, shared. And finally, my cup—waiting for me—with a small pain pill beside it. Porque a veces, el café no solo es sabor… también es alivio.

El plano detalle de sus manos cuenta su propia historia: los años, el cariño, la paciencia. Manos que han trabajado, que han dado, que han acompañado. Y al final, mi taza—esperándome—con una pastillita al lado. Porque a veces, el café no es solo sabor… también es alivio.

This small moment says a lot. About family, about routine, about how love can be served steaming hot in a cup with no words needed. That’s why I had to photograph it. That’s why it matters.

Este momento sencillo dice mucho. Sobre la familia, la rutina, y cómo el amor se puede servir humeante en una taza, sin decir una sola palabra. Por eso tenía que fotografiarlo. Por eso importa.
