In every wedding, there’s a silent language that says it all—the touch of two hands, the shine of a ring, the gentle way fingers intertwine. For this series, I decided to focus solely on those small but powerful gestures, using my 50mm lens to capture the poetry that lives in the details.

En cada boda hay un lenguaje silencioso que lo dice todo—el roce de dos manos, el brillo de un anillo, la forma suave en que los dedos se entrelazan. Para esta serie, decidí concentrarme únicamente en esos gestos pequeños pero cargados de significado, usando mi lente 50mm para capturar la poesía que vive en los detalles.

This kind of lens forces you to move closer, to be intentional with every frame. It doesn’t forgive descuidos, but it rewards the eye that knows what to look for. A slight squeeze of hands, the moment when one partner slides the ring onto the other’s finger, or when the couple’s hands rest together over a shared table—those images speak of union louder than any words.

Este tipo de lente te obliga a acercarte, a ser intencional con cada encuadre. No perdona descuidos, pero premia al ojo que sabe qué buscar. Un apretón leve de manos, el momento en que uno coloca el anillo en el dedo del otro o cuando las manos de la pareja reposan juntas sobre una mesa compartida—esas imágenes hablan de unión más fuerte que cualquier palabra.

There’s something timeless about the way hands tell stories. In weddings, they carry nervousness, love, laughter, and promises. And through these images, I hope to show how even the most modest gestures can carry the deepest truths.

Hay algo eterno en la forma en que las manos cuentan historias. En las bodas, cargan nervios, amor, risas y promesas. Y con estas imágenes, espero mostrar cómo incluso los gestos más modestos pueden cargar con las verdades más profundas.
