There’s a silent story that unfolds through the smallest gestures—one that can be told with just a pair of rings. With my 50mm lens, I followed these symbols of love from the moment they were gently taken out of their box for the first photos, to when they were blessed at the altar, and finally when they were exchanged, sealing the promise between two hearts.

Hay una historia silenciosa que se cuenta a través de los gestos más pequeños—una que puede narrarse con solo un par de anillos. Con mi lente 50mm seguí estos símbolos de amor desde el instante en que fueron sacados delicadamente de su caja para las primeras fotos, hasta cuando fueron bendecidos en el altar y, finalmente, cuando se los entregaron el uno al otro, sellando así una promesa entre dos corazones.

Photographing details like this allows me to slow down and observe the emotional weight that each moment lleva consigo. The trembling hands, the reverence del sacerdote al bendecirlos, and the intimacy of that brief second where one partner slides the ring on the other’s finger—those are the real treasures of the day.

Fotografiar detalles como estos me permite ir más lento y observar el peso emocional que cada momento lleva consigo. Las manos que tiemblan, la reverencia del sacerdote al bendecirlos y la intimidad de ese segundo en que un compañero desliza el anillo en el dedo del otro—esas son las verdaderas joyas del día.

The rings aren’t just accessories. They’re silent witnesses to the before, during, and forever after. In black and white, they become timeless—a simple shape holding all the complexity of commitment, cariño y fe.

Los anillos no son solo accesorios. Son testigos silenciosos del antes, el durante y el para siempre. En blanco y negro se vuelven eternos—una forma sencilla que guarda toda la complejidad del compromiso, del cariño y de la fe.
