There are details that speak louder than words, and wedding rings are one of them. In these images, I tried to give them their own stage — sometimes resting on rose petals, sometimes lifted by the hands that now carry a promise. The focus is clear: the rings shine in the front, while love blurs softly in the background.

Hay detalles que hablan más que mil palabras, y los anillos de boda son uno de ellos. En estas fotos quise darles su propio escenario: a veces sobre pétalos de rosas, a veces sostenidos por las manos que hoy cargan una promesa. El punto está claro: los anillos brillan al frente, mientras el amor se difumina suave en el fondo.

Using depth of field became a way of telling a simple story — that love doesn’t need to shout to be seen. It’s there, constant, even when it doesn’t take the spotlight. The blurred silhouettes of the couple remind us that their union is much more than two figures in focus; it is a bond that grows quietly, but firmly.

Usar la profundidad de campo fue mi manera de contar una historia sencilla: que el amor no necesita gritar para hacerse notar. Está allí, constante, aunque no siempre esté en primer plano. Las siluetas desenfocadas de los esposos nos recuerdan que su unión es mucho más que dos figuras visibles; es un lazo que crece callado, pero firme.

As a man in his forties, I see these images not just as pretty pictures, but as reminders. Time goes by, petals dry, and even hands change. What remains, if the promise is true, is what those rings represent. And maybe that’s the real question: will the shine of the metal last longer than the fire in their hearts?

Como hombre de cuarenta años, veo estas fotos no solo como algo bonito, sino como recordatorios. El tiempo pasa, los pétalos se secan y hasta las manos cambian. Lo que queda, si la promesa es verdadera, es lo que esos anillos representan. Y quizá allí está la verdadera pregunta: ¿durará más el brillo del metal que el fuego en sus corazones?
