There are parties, and then there are quinceañeras that feel like an explosion of joy.
In this series, I captured one of those nights where nobody wanted to sit down — the music was too good, the mood too high. From spontaneous dance-offs with mimes, to moments where the birthday girl took a quick pause to fix her makeup, everything felt like a movie scene.

Hay fiestas… y luego están las de quinceaños que parecen sacadas de otro mundo.
En esta serie capturé una noche donde nadie quería parar de bailar — la música estaba encendida, y la alegría se sentía en el aire. Desde mimos echando paso con la cumpleañera, hasta esos ratitos donde retocaban el maquillaje para seguir brillando, todo fue como una película hecha fiesta.

It’s amazing how moments so full of movement and noise can be frozen in silence through a lens.
I focused on the joy — people dancing with abandon, laughter bursting out, friends and family surrounding the birthday girl with pure cariño. Every shot speaks of celebration, of letting go and living fully in the moment.

Es increíble cómo un lente puede atrapar tanto movimiento y tanta bulla… en completo silencio.
Me enfoqué en la alegría — en esa gente que bailó hasta más no poder, en las risas espontáneas, y en los seres queridos que rodeaban a la quinceañera con puro amor. Cada toma habla de celebración, de soltarse y vivir sin pensar en el mañana.
