There are moments when the story of a wedding begins long before the music, the dancing, or the vows. It starts in the silence of the objects, in the details that wait patiently to become part of something greater.

Hay momentos en los que la historia de una boda empieza mucho antes de la música, del baile o de los votos. Comienza en el silencio de los objetos, en los detalles que esperan pacientemente ser parte de algo más grande.

Before the ceremony even begins, there’s a world of symbols waiting quietly: the rings that seal the promise, the coins that speak of prosperity, the earrings that shine with elegance, the heels that mark each step, and the dress that tells its own story. With a 50mm lens, I tried to play with those details, letting the bokeh soften the edges so that the objects themselves would speak with more force.

Antes de que la ceremonia empiece, ya hay un universo de símbolos esperando en silencio: los anillos que sellan la promesa, las arras que hablan de prosperidad, los zarcillos que brillan con elegancia, los tacones que marcan cada paso y el vestido que cuenta su propia historia. Con el 50mm traté de jugar con esos detalles, dejando que el bokeh suavizara los bordes para que los objetos mismos hablaran con más fuerza.

Every detail is not just decoration, but a fragment of what’s about to happen. I placed them together, searching for harmony, letting the light caress the textures and the shadows create depth. It’s as if, in those small compositions, the weight of tradition and the intimacy of love could be framed in silence.

Cada detalle no es solo un adorno, sino un fragmento de lo que está por suceder. Los fui acomodando, buscando armonía, dejando que la luz acariciara las texturas y que las sombras dieran profundidad. Es como si en esas pequeñas composiciones se pudiera encuadrar el peso de la tradición y la intimidad del amor en silencio.

At the end of the day, a wedding is not only the union of two people, but the gathering of small pieces that build the memory. Maybe that’s why I always ask myself when I look at these images: will these objects, once used and stored away, still keep echoing the same promises?

Al final, una boda no es solo la unión de dos personas, sino la suma de pequeñas piezas que construyen la memoria. Quizás por eso siempre me pregunto al ver estas imágenes: ¿seguirán estos objetos, una vez usados y guardados, resonando con las mismas promesas?
