At every wedding, there’s always that moment when someone forgets they’re being watched. The music takes over, the body follows the rhythm, and suddenly the dance floor becomes a space of pure freedom. Some dance alone, some in pairs, but all of them are moved by the same joy.

En cada boda siempre hay alguien que se suelta, que se olvida del protocolo y se entrega por completo a la música. Y eso fue justo lo que quise capturar con estas fotos: gente bailando como si nadie los estuviera viendo, gozando por cuenta propia, sin necesitar de una pareja o una coreografía. Solo ellos, la pista y el beat.

These solo dancers, for me, are the true soul of the party. With my 50mm lens, I tried to frame those seconds of genuine expression: a hand in the air, eyes closed, a step off-beat but full of feeling. Because when someone dances like nobody’s watching… that’s when the magic really happens.

Y aunque muchos podrían pasar desapercibidos en medio del bullicio, mi cámara los encontró. Y les dio ese pequeño homenaje que merecen, porque no se necesita una multitud para llenar de energía una fiesta… a veces, basta con una sola persona bailando con el corazón.
