Wake Up Wednesday

Hello to all the Wednesday Walk community. I was leaving early today, as usual, for work. The day is not good, cloudy, apparently it rained last night. There is its mild wind with cold. As it always is here in downtown Havana, Cuba. The sea air being close to the Malecon you get the cool breeze in the morning.

I began to notice the reflections in the mirrors, that early morning view that few see, well only those who get up early to go to work and are those who look at the details around them. I tell you and I will also show you, I liked several places the way they looked, the light reflected in the crystals, I thought it was super cool. It was as if at that moment the street was talking to me, it looked completely different from the way I used to look at it when passing by.

As I looked at the reflections of the mirrors and glass in the buildings, some showed me a perfect image of what was in front of me, while others gave me a distorted point of view. But in all of them I was seeing the street where I always walk through a magic lens.

The reflection of the little light there was in the morning, added to the awakening of the city, the noises of the cars, the people walking in a hurry to get to their office early, others who were just on their way home after a long night of partying. And no one noticed what the city was talking about, it was dawning too.

Since no one else was looking, they didn't stop for a second. I took out my phone and took several pictures. I was waiting for that moment where I wasn't bothered by people walking by so they wouldn't be in the way and I could contemplate each image through my cell phone. I got good pictures and that is the final result, I took a little piece of the city today on an early wake up Wednesday.
