Greatings everyone you are all welcome to my entry on a needlework community which is all about the bucket list. But before any thing I will love to know how you all are doing, I hope you all are doing great and if you ask of my I am doing good too.

My own bucket list is all about a project giving to me since last year December 2022 to cover a new leather. This project is a big project but I keep it in my shop without working on it, not that the owner did not give the money he did and I bought all the material and the car was in mechanic so I use the opportunity to dump it, the project was very technical and I was thinking about how I am going to do it because it not something of one week. And also the tools needed to loose the seat, I didn't have it. So I stated the work since last week Monday and complete it today Wednesday.

I am really very much happy that I finally complected the project with the best of my ability .

Here are the photos of the completed work

Looking at the seat you will no is not easy to sew line through the seat. It really stress me that is why I dump it for that long.

Here was the seat before

Before I start the work, I first of all when to market to buy all material I am using for the work like the leather, gum, roof material and others. After getting all the material set, I then move forward to the next step.

I loose the seat from the back and also the seat frame.

I am going to use only this one seat to illustrate my steps because all the steps are the same.

After loosing the seat I then use a measurement tape, take my measurement including the distance of each small line on the old seat

Here is the new leather I am using

I then transfer the measurement to the new leather, use pencil to draw on the line, the line is faint, all this with the help of my sewing tape.

After transferring the measurement, I then use scissors to cut it out for the next step.

After cutting out the new leather, I then shape it to form my new pattern I am going to work with, ie placing the cut material on its position and then shape it out. After doing that, I then place it on a roof material and then gum it together.

After that, I then cut it out for sewing process
