Quiet Sunset by the Danube

This guy was sitting on a bench smoking a cigarette.

What was in front of him: The perfect sunset, the Danube river and the monument.

Victor (Pobednik) is the most famous symbol of Belgrade.
It was built to commemorate Serbia's victory over the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires during World War I and the Balkan Wars.
A proud guard that looks over the confluence of Sava and Danube river.

I sat behind him for a while after I took these pics to enjoy the view but

I couldn’t stay long, time is against me when sun is disappearing fast.

The lighting was so perfect to take photos.

I bet you feel the same as me, when sun goes down suddenly the world is quiet.
The heartbeat of life is slow and nothing, but even the tiny details, are beautiful.
