I want to start by telling you that this is the first time I post in this community and it caught my attention because it uses photographs to illustrate what we want to say.

Last Saturday, June 24, the day we celebrate the battle of Carabobo in Venezuela, I decided to go to the center of Cabudare, where I live, to do some shopping; I happened to pass by the Plaza Bolivar and I stopped to contemplate how beautiful it is. I was struck by the colorful and landscaping it has nowadays.

In other opportunities I had passed by the front but I did not stop, because this square was accompanied by abandonment, despite the fact that the main church of Cabudare (The Cathedral) San Juan Bautista is located there. This church remained closed due to failures and lack of maintenance, it was in total abandonment, despite being a representative icon of this city.

I invite you to visit it and spend a nice time sitting on its beautiful benches enjoying either an ice cream or just to take the kids to ride a bike or skate, because now it is a cozy square.

Hola mis queridos Hivers, y amigos de la comunidad @liketu, gusto en saludarlos, espero que todos se encuentren bien de salud y disfrutando al máximo de esta última semana que nos queda del mes de junio.

Quiero iniciar comentándoles que es la primera vez que publico en esta comunidad y me llamó la atención porque utiliza las fotografías para ilustrar lo que queremos decir.

El pasado sábado 24 de junio, día en que celebramos la batalla de Carabobo en Venezuela, decidí ir al centro de Cabudare, sitio donde resido, a realizar unas compras; pasé por casualidad por la plaza Bolívar y me detuve a contemplarla por lo hermosa que está. Me llamó la atención el colorido y paisajismo con que cuenta actualmente.

En otras oportunidades había pasado por el frente pero no me detenía, porque a esta plaza la acompañaba el abandono, a pesar de que allí se encuentra la iglesia matriz de Cabudare (La Catedral) San Juan Bautista. Esta iglesia permanecía cerrada debido a las fallas que presentaba y a la falta de mantenimiento, estaba en total abandono, a pesar de ser un icono representativo de esta ciudad.

Los invito a visitarla y pasar un rato agradable sentados en sus lindos bancos disfrutando bien sea de un helado o simplemente para llevar a los niños a pasear en bicicleta o a patinar, porque ahora si es una plaza acogedora.
