Mi pequeña @wuildanart esta por pasar a educación diversificada y por razones que no quiero mencionar aún no tenía cédula de identidad, así que luego de un conjunto de diligencias y papeles solo faltaba ir al SAIME para gestionar su cédula y de eso vengo a hablarles hoy.

Anteriormente el proceso de cedulación se basaba en ir a la sede del SAIME de tu región con la partida original y una copia en caso de ser primera vez, en caso de renovación de cédula solo con una copia de cédula bastaba. Las cosas han cambiado, aparentemente para bien.

El sistema se ha actualizado, ahora solo se debe ir a la sede del SAIME con una cita (planilla), así es, similar como se hace con el pasaporte, lo que ha cambiado es que ahora también se debe hacer con la cedulación.

Les cuento desde mi experiencia. Ya estaba registrado al sistema SAIME porque hace unos años me saqué el Pasaporte, así que solo ingresé con mis datos. Apenas entrar estaba en una cola virtual siendo el número 15350, un aviso me indicó que si cerraba la página perdía mi turno, así que dejé la página minimizada mientras hacía otras cosas en HIVE ya saben. Espere unas 4 horas aproximadamente.

Al entrar al fin, me aparecen las pestañas -pasaporte, cedulación, datos civiles-, elegí la opción cedulación, más abajo la opción "solicitar cédula para niño o adolescente", luego se abrió un formulario que rellené con datos personales muy precisos, aprovecho para decirles que deben tener a mano las partidas de nacimiento y datos exactos de dirección de domicilio.

Algunos datos importantes donde se debe tener cuidado es al momento de colocar los nombres y apellidos, el folio y año de la partida, el lugar donde fue presentado el menor, el centro médico donde nació junto a la dirección del mismo, al igual que los datos del representante, todo debe coincidir de forma exacta, si una letra esta de más o de menos no procede y la cita es suspendida terminando entonces en una gran perdida de tiempo y trabajo.

En ocasiones la página se cerró y me mandó a la cola virtual de nuevo.

En este punto de rellenar el formulario todo iba bien hasta que el sistema me colocaba como madre, a pesar que le indicaba que sería el representante del menor como su padre el sistema seguía arrojando que soy su madre, no había manera de cambiar eso y así lo dejé. El día de nacimiento de mi hija es el 22 y el sistema le colocaba el día 21, luego entraba a la cita editaba ese dato y en pantalla se veía el 22 pero al guardar el cambio y darle a terminar, me llega un correo con la planilla de la cita y la fecha sale con el día 21 nuevamente. Estuve intentado varias veces y no hubo manera de cambiar esto. Ignoré las palabras de @wuildanart cuando me dijo que intentara colocar día 23 a ver si burlaba al sistema para que me colocara el día 22.

Aproveché de solicitar mi cédula también ya que la actual estaba vencida, lo sé, mala mía, pero es que odio las colas.

Las citas pueden ser programas desde las 8am hasta las 3pm. Yo elegí las 9am para dos días después de solicitarla.

Llegamos a la sede del SAIME de mi ciudad Maturín que queda en la entrada del Aeropuerto a las 8am, habían varias colas y no entendía cuál era cuál o para qué, así que preguntando se llega a Roma, después de andar de aquí para allá preguntando logre entender para qué era cada cola, afortunadamente la cola de la cita de las 9am no estaba tan larga.

A las 9am salió uno de los funcionarios recogiendo documentos de las personas que tenían cita a las 8am, es decir una hora de diferencia, entró a oficina a verificar datos, este proceso tardó unos minutos, luego salió y mencionó a las personas que debían entrar a hacer una nueva cola pero ya en la parte de adentro de la sede, algunas personas que contenían errores en los datos les explicó lo que debían hacer pero no podían pasar a hacer cola, sin embargo podían corregir los errores en la planilla y regresar sin perder su lugar en la cola o turno, esto me pareció muy bien.

A las 10am recogieron mis papeles y luego a las 11am me avisaron del error en el día de nacimiento en la planilla de mi hija, a pesar que le expliqué al funcionario que yo no podía cambiar eso porque el sistema vuelve a colocar 21 me indicó que ellos tampoco pueden hacer nada, que siga intentando hasta que el sistema lo acepte y si no lo acepta pues nada, que espere hasta que mejoren el sistema, "...lo que pasa es que es un sistema nuevo y tiene sus errores que ya luego irán corrigiendo y si no se puede cambiar su fecha pues no se puede, queda intentar en otra oportunidad..."

Llamé a mi otra hija @wuildariablox y le pedí que ingresara al sistema e intentara borrar caché a la página del SAIME para volver a cambiar la fecha pero no deja entrar en modo desarrollador por lo obvio, así que le dije, intenta colocando fechas random a ver si las toma, se le ocurrió colocar el día 23 (lo mismo que me había dicho @wuildanart el día que estaba haciendo la cita) y la magia ocurrió, el sistema automáticamente colocó día 22. Es decir, para los que tienen este problema con el sistema, la solución esta en colocar un día más a la fecha de nacimiento, si quieren que el sistema coloque día 6 entonces deben colocar día 7.

Una vez corregido ese problema no hace falta imprimir planilla, avisé al funcionario la manera de burlar ese fallo del sistema para que ayude a otras personas con el mismo error, y a las 12 del mediodía llamaron a mi hija para que hiciera la cola adentro, yo estaba afuera esperando mi turno para entrar.

A las 2pm terminó el proceso de cedulación para mi hija y a las 3pm terminó el mío, eso porque también tuve un fallo en mi planilla con respecto a un dato de mi lugar de presentación, pero si todo hubiera estado correcto a las 2pm también habría estado listo.

Creo que este nuevo método de cedulación por citas esta mejor que el anterior, por ahora sigue siendo lento pero es que esta en un proceso de adaptación, aun así es mucho más rápido y cómodo que el anterior. La entrega de nuestras cédulas esta pautada para la semana entrante. Para retirarla no se debe hacer cola sino que se le avisa al funcionario y entras directamente a retirar.

Me di una vuelta por el aeropuerto pero el celular se me descargó y no pude tomar fotos del estado lamentable. Tal vez me acerqué otro día y lo comparta en un próximo post.

In the past, the cedula process was based on going to the SAIME headquarters in your region with the original certificate and a copy if it was the first time, and in the case of renewing the ID card, only a copy of the cédula was enough. Things have changed, apparently for the better.

The system has been updated, now you only have to go to the SAIME headquarters with an appointment (planilla), that's right, similar to the way you do with the passport, what has changed is that now you also have to do it with the ID card.

I tell you from my experience. I was already registered in the SAIME system because a few years ago I got my passport, so I just entered my details. As soon as I entered I was in a virtual queue being number 15350, a notice told me that if I closed the page I would lose my turn, so I left the page minimized while I did other things in HIVE you know. I waited for about 4 hours.

When I finally entered, the tabs appeared - passport, ID card, civil data - I chose the option "cedulación", then the option "apply for a child or adolescent ID card", then a form was opened which I filled in with very precise personal data, I take this opportunity to tell you that you must have your birth certificates and exact address data at hand.

Some important data where care must be taken is when entering the names and surnames, the folio and year of the birth certificate, the place where the child was presented, the medical centre where the child was born and the address, as well as the details of the representative, everything must match exactly, if a letter is too many or too few it does not proceed and the appointment is suspended, ending up in a great waste of time and work.

Sometimes the page closed and sent me to the virtual queue again.

At this point of filling in the form everything was going well until the system placed me as the mother, even though I indicated that I would be the representative of the minor as her father, the system continued to show that I am her mother, there was no way to change that and so I left it at that. My daughter's date of birth is the 22nd and the system placed the 21st, then I entered the appointment and edited that information and the screen showed the 22nd but when I saved the change and clicked finish, I received an email with the appointment form and the date came out with the 21st again. I tried several times and there was no way to change this. I ignored the words of @wuildanart when he told me to try to put 23rd to see if I could trick the system into putting 22nd.

I took the opportunity to apply for my DNI too as my current one was out of date, I know, my bad, but I just hate queues.

Appointments can be scheduled from 8am to 3pm. I chose 9am for two days after applying.

We arrived at the SAIME headquarters in my city of Maturín, which is at the entrance to the airport at 8am, there were several queues and I didn't understand which was which or for what, so I asked around to get to Rome, after going back and forth asking around I managed to understand what each queue was for, fortunately the queue for the 9am appointment was not so long.

At 9am one of the officials came out collecting documents from the people who had an appointment at 8am, that is to say an hour difference, he went into the office to verify data, this process took a few minutes, then he came out and told the people that they had to queue again but already inside the office, some people who had errors in the data he explained to them what they had to do but they could not queue, however they could correct the errors on the form and return without losing their place in the queue or turn, this seemed very good to me.

At 10am they collected my papers and then at 11am they told me of the error in the date of birth on my daughter's form, although I explained to the official that I could not change it because the system returns 21, he told me that they could not do anything either, to keep trying until the system accepts it and if it does not accept it then nothing, to wait until they improve the system, ". ...what happens is that it is a new system and it has its errors that will be corrected later and if you can't change your date then you can't, you have to try another time...".

I called my other daughter @wuildariablox and asked her to enter the system and try to delete cache to the SAIME page to change the date again but it does not let you enter developer mode because of the obvious, so I told her, try placing random dates to see if it takes them, it occurred to her to place the 23rd (the same that @wuildanart had told me the day I was making the appointment) and the magic happened, the system automatically placed day 22. That is to say, for those who have this problem with the system, the solution is to add one more day to the date of birth, if you want the system to place day 6 then you should place day 7.

Once that problem was corrected, there was no need to print out a form, I told the official how to circumvent the system to help other people with the same error, and at 12 noon they called my daughter to queue inside, I was outside waiting for my turn to go in.

At 2pm my daughter's cedulación process finished and mine finished at 3pm, because I also had a mistake in my form regarding a piece of information about my place of presentation, but if everything had been correct at 2pm it would also have been ready.

I think that this new method of ID registration by appointment is better than the previous one, for now it is still slow but it is in a process of adaptation, even so it is much faster and more convenient than the previous one. The delivery of our cédulas is scheduled for next week. You don't have to queue to collect it, you just tell the official and you go straight in to collect it.

I went for a walk around the airport but my mobile phone was discharged and I couldn't take pictures of the pitiful state. Maybe I'll come back another day and share it in a future post.
