Los últimos días me he sentido muy agotada física y emocionalmente, entre las actividades escolares y musicales de los niños, los quehaceres del hogar, la situación económica que no siempre es favorable, la condición de salud de mi mamá que aún no está completamente esclarecida y varios por menores más... Al finalizar el día quedo sin ánimos de nada, con las baterías descargadas y aprovechando el mínimo instante para descansar.

The last few days I have felt very exhausted physically and emotionally, between the children's school and musical activities, the household chores, the economic situation that is not always favorable, my mother's health condition that is still not completely clarified and several other minor issues... At the end of the day I am left with no desire for anything, with my batteries discharged and taking advantage of the smallest moment to rest.

Los fines de semana son el momento que generalmente tengo para reposar, pero no siempre es así, por ejemplo ayer sábado me tocó levantarme temprano a organizar todo lo necesario para llevar a Mariana a un ensayo en la Academia de Música y a José a su primera presentación con el Proyecto Simón Bolívar; el programa coral infantil del sistema de Orquestas y Coros del Sistema.

Weekends are the time I usually have to rest, but it is not always the case, for example yesterday Saturday I had to get up early to organize everything I needed to take Mariana to a rehearsal at the Music Academy and José to his first performance with the Simón Bolívar Project; the children's choral program of the Orchestras and Choirs System of the System.

El acto estuvo muy concurrido, pues ahí convergen alumnos de todos los colegios de la ciudad donde funciona el Proyecto Simón Bolívar, los cuales han sido agrupados en ejes con el fin de unificar el trabajo que desde hace aproximadamente 10 años se viene realizando de manera ardua cumpliendo la premisa del maestro José Antonio Abreu; que ningún aula quede ausente de música. Un hermoso proyecto que permite que la música, llegue a todos los niños sin distinción alguna.

The event was very well attended, as there converge students from all the schools in the city where the Simon Bolivar Project operates, which have been grouped into axes in order to unify the work that for about 10 years has been done arduously fulfilling the premise of the teacher Jose Antonio Abreu; that no classroom is absent of music. A beautiful project that allows music to reach all children without distinction.

La actividad se llevó acabo en el colegio Andrés Eloy Blanco de la ciudad de Cumaná y contó con la invitación especial del coro infantil del programa de iniciación musical y la participación de más de 200 niños pertenecientes a 3 de los 4 ejes que actualmente alberga el proyecto.

The activity was held at the Andrés Eloy Blanco school in the city of Cumaná and included the special invitation of the children's choir of the musical initiation program and the participation of more than 200 children belonging to 3 of the 4 axes currently included in the project.

Fue una mañana muy amena dónde los asistentes pudimos apreciar los avances que han tenido los niños de la mano de sus instructores, pues ya no solo interpretan piezas al unisono sino que en su mayoría interpretaron canciones a dos y hasta tres voces y además los instrumentistas que acompañaron el encuentro en su mayoría eran niños que también forman parte de los diferentes programas musicales del Sistema de Orquestas.

It was a very pleasant morning where the attendees were able to appreciate the progress that the children have made under the guidance of their instructors, since they not only interpret pieces in unison, but most of them performed songs in two and even three voices, and also the instrumentalists who accompanied the meeting were mostly children who are also part of the different musical programs of the Orchestra System.

Los niños del eje N° 3 a donde pertenece José Guillermo interpretaron canciones de nuestro folclore como El frutero, El Becerrito, Camarón Ven Acá y el Bandolín de Morocho, algo que para mi niño representó un gran avance y le causó mucha emoción, pues en varias ocasiones me dijo que lo felicitara porque se había aprendido 4 canciones y había salido al escenario sin pena. 🥰

The children of axis N° 3 where José Guillermo belongs performed songs of our folklore such as El frutero, El Becerrito, Camarón Ven Acá and el Bandolín de Morocho, something that for my child represented a great advance and caused him a lot of emotion, because on several occasions he told me to congratulate him because he had learned 4 songs and had gone on stage without shame. 🥰

Allí además tuvimos el agrado de coincidir con los hermosos hijos de mi querida y siempre recordada @ mariajruizb, unos primos a los que mis hijos adoran y cada vez que tienen la oportunidad de coincidir se demuestra el amor y la complicidad que han creado desde pequeños.

There we also had the pleasure of coinciding with the beautiful children of my dear and always remembered @ mariajruizb, cousins that my children adore and every time they have the opportunity to meet they show the love and complicity that they have created since they were little.

Momentos como este llenos de buena música y encuentros familiares definitivamente recargan mis energías, y me hacen recordar que aunque ser mamá de dos músicos en formación no es una tarea fácil, el amor y el comprensión siempre serán herramientas útiles para levantarme todos los días y recordar que todo esfuerzo tiene su recompensa sobretodo en el camino de la música, donde con constancia, disciplina y dedicación todo es posible.

Moments like this full of good music and family gatherings definitely recharge my energy, and remind me that although being a mom of two musicians in training is not an easy task, love and understanding will always be useful tools to get me up every day and remind me that every effort has its reward, especially in the path of music, where with perseverance, discipline and dedication everything is possible.
