Soy cubana, mi nombre completo es: Katia Morales Pérez, tengo 38 años, nací en la provincia de Pinar del Río y soy del municipio de Viñales, mi signo zodiacal es escorpios porque nací un 18 de noviembre de 1984. Algo sobre mí/Something about me

Desde pequeña he sentido inclinación por el arte, por lo que tengo preferencia por las materias de las Humanidades. Creo que todas las personas tienen un don, el mío, es el canto. No lo desarrollé hasta ser profesional, pero si tuve la posibilidad y necesidad de cantar desde la primaria. Estos momentos no pudieron registrarse, pero son momentos entrañables. También incursioné en el teatro, en los talleres de la casa de Cultura de Viñales y tuvimos una presentación nocturna, con público, maquillaje y escenografía, fue una experiencia inolvidable. Posteriormente en la Secundaria Básica participé en el coro de la escuela.

Since I was a little girl I have felt an inclination for art, so I have a preference for Humanities courses. I think that everyone has a gift, mine is singing. I didn't develop it until I became professional, but I had the opportunity and need to sing since elementary school. These moments couldn't be registered, but they are cherished moments. I also ventured into theater, in the workshops of the Viñales House of Culture and we had a nighttime presentation, with an audience, makeup and scenery, it was an unforgettable experience. Later on, in Secondary School, I participated in the school choir.

Realicé el preuniversitario, en un lugar de Viñales conocido como “Ancón”, es un lugar hermoso, con mucha vegetación, ríos y mogotes. Allí, tuve la oportunidad de conocerme más y supe la carrera que quería estudiar, al tener la posibilidad de explotar más mis dotes para el canto. En cada matutino o actividad cultural, tenía el gusto de cantar. Así fue como decidí hacer las pruebas de aptitud para estudiar la carrera de Educación Musical. Por lo que soy Licenciada en Educación Musical, realice una Maestría en Educación y un Doctorado en Ciencias Pedagógicas.

I did the preuniversity, in a place of Viñales known as "Ancón", it is a beautiful place, with much vegetation, rivers and mogotes. There, I had the opportunity to know me more and I knew the career that I wanted to study, to having the possibility of exploiting more my singing skills. In each morning or cultural activity, I liked to sing. That's how I decided to do the aptitude tests to study the career of Musical Education. So I am a graduate in Musical Education, I made a Master's in Education and a Doctorate in Pedagogical Sciences.

Tengo dos mascotas, un perrito que tiene siete años, se llama Eros y un gatico que tiene 8 años y se llama Zafiro. Son muy nobles y se llevan bien.

I have two pets, a seven-year-old dog named Eros and an eight-year-old cat named Sapphire. They are very noble and get along well.

¿Cómo me identifico?/How do I identify myself?

Me identifico, por ser una persona ávida de conocimientos, que persigue y cumple sus sueños, sencilla, callada, observadora, humilde y responsable. Estos son valores y virtudes que provienen de la educación recibida por mis padres que son muy trabajadores, buenas personas y responsables. No creo ser perfecta, hay muchas cosas en las que trabajar para seguir puliendo mi personalidad.

I identify myself as a person who is eager for knowledge, who pursues and fulfills his dreams, simple, quiet, observant, humble and responsible. These are values and virtues that come from the education received by my parents who are very hardworking, good people and responsible. I do not think I am perfect, there are many things to work on to continue polishing my personality.

Me gusta leer, puedo estar 24 horas inmersas en un buen libro, últimamente leo más literatura científica por mi trabajo, pero cuando tengo tiempo y un buen libro a mano, no dudo en disfrutarlo. He incursionado, además del canto, en la cerámica y la fotografía. La fotografía es empírico pero de cerámica si pasé un curso y todavía conservo la pieza con la que me gradué.

I like to read, I can be 24 hours immersed in a good book, lately I read more scientific literature for my work, but when I have time and a good book in hand, I do not hesitate to enjoy it. In addition to singing, I have also ventured into ceramics and photography. Photography is empirical but I took a course in ceramics and I still have the piece I graduated with.

Me gusta mucho reír, a pesar de que parezco seria y puedo dar la impresión equivocada. Creo que esa fue una de las razones por las que me acerqué a mi esposo, me hace reír. Estamos casados hace 14 años pero llevamos 17 años de relación, mi esposo se llama Yovany. Es la persona que me complementa, me ha apoyado en mis estudios y en la vida, que con una pareja es más fácil ser adulto y todas las responsabilidades que eso conlleva.

I love to laugh, even though I look serious and can give the wrong impression. I think that's one of the reasons I approached my husband, he makes me laugh. We've been married for 14 years but we've been in a relationship for 17 years, my husband's name is Yovany. He's the one who complements me, he's supported me in my studies and in life, it's easier to be an adult with a partner and all the responsibilities that come with it.

Llevo uno meses subiendo reels a Instagram [katiamorales84] porque siento la necesidad de explotar mi lado artístico y vi una oportunidad para expresarme, pero en Hive, gracias a una amiga y doctoranda @yanerkidiaz, en esta comunidad, creo que tendré mayores posibilidades de crecimiento y conocimientos porque brinda herramientas para crecer y emprender, a partir de las potencialidades de cada cual, incluso con carácter holístico en función de las emociones, la educación, el crecimiento personal, la responsabilidad y la solidaridad. Puedes emprender a partir de tus virtudes sin perder nada.

I've been uploading reels to Instagram [katiamorales84] for one month because I feel the need to exploit my artistic side and saw an opportunity to express myself, but in Hive, thanks to a friend and PhD student @yanerkidiaz, in this community, I think I will have greater opportunities for growth and knowledge because it provides tools to grow and undertake, from the potential of each one, even with a holistic character based on emotions, education, personal growth, responsibility and solidarity. You can undertake from your virtues without losing anything.

Me inclinaré por la fotografía, escribiré sobre mi proyecto de vida, el mundo de la música y el audiovisual, que son algunas de mis pasiones. También hay temas que me interesan, sobre todo de salud, nutricionales y sobre los ejercicios físicos porque tengo Diabetes mellitus tipo II y es importante el cuidado de la salud.
