He tenido la ocasión de encontrarme esta seta bastante común y abundante, que se nutre de materia orgánica (de ahí a que pueda ser frecuente de encontrarse en cementerios, pajares, o lugares donde abunden los restos vegetales). Carecen de interés culinario, pero siempre tienen una función en el ecosistema.

I have had the opportunity to meet this quite common and abundant mushroom, which feeds on organic matter (hence it can be frequently found in cemeteries, haystacks, or places where plant debris abound). They are of no culinary interest, but they always have a function in the ecosystem.

Las fotos muestran diferentes setas del mismo tipo de hongo en diferentes estadios de maduración, lo que demuestra lo fácil que puede ser confundir algunas especies si nos fijamos en características tan a veces fugaces como el color, la tonalidad, o el aspecto en general.

The photos show different mushrooms of the same type of mushroom in different stages of maturation, which shows how easy it can be to confuse some species if we look at such sometimes fleeting characteristics as color, hue, or appearance in general.

Los ejemplares jóvenes tienen un tono claro, verdoso grisáceo y en la madurez comienzan a parecer tonalidades ocres o doradas, siendo bastantes distintas en imagen. En ambas se puede apreciar los restos de volva, característica de este género.

Young specimens have a light, greenish-grayish tone and at maturity begin to look like ocher or golden tones, being quite different in image. In both you can see the remains of volva, characteristic of this genus.
