Tremendo ejemplar de algarrobo / Tremendous specimen of carob tree

¡Buenas a tod@s!
Hello everybody! The protagonist of this post is a large carob tree also from the botanical garden of La Concepcion in Malaga. I don't know the real age of this specimen, but it is surely one of the longest inhabitants of the estate.

The carob tree, whose scientific name is Ceratonia siliqua belongs to the leguminous family, and as such its fruits or carobs, in the case of being a female individual, are shaped like a pod (in Greek, Cera means horn) and are edible (the chocolate of the poor, they call it). They are used in the food industry for their satiating properties and also for animal feed.

It is a rustic tree, which adapts well to the climate of Andalusia, protects the soil with its roots, offers shelter, shade and food. What more could you ask for? I hope it lasts many, many more years and that I will meet it again on my walks in the garden.

Hello, I have added that the photos and the text are my own. As I told you, I have a degree in biology and I worked as a guide and environmental educator in the botanical garden. The information that I give is based on the knowledge that I acquired throughout my career, with my fellow guides, documentaries, training courses, research, books, etc. so I have not "plagiarized" anything, they are things that I already know and describe with my words. I haven't literally copied anything from the internet. Please, how can I publish or what should I indicate in these cases so that I am not accused of plagiarism? Thank you
