We have noticed that different types of insects live in the forest. We may not have much idea about all those insects or we do not know the simple insects. However, there are some insects that we know and know their names. Similarly, we may have a lot of ideas about crickets. Crickets are small but amazing creatures, whose voices make our natural world more alive. They are mainly seen during the summer and rainy season and their calls break the silence of the night and fill the surroundings. Crickets have long bodies, brown or greenish in color and their wings are thin and transparent. I like their body shape a lot. They are quite strong. They can fly and jump very fast. I have noticed that they appear in the outside environment at night. During the day, they hide themselves so that birds cannot catch and eat them. And their calls are so beautiful and melodious that it is very pleasant to hear. The call of this insect, although monotonous, is very sweet and charming, especially in the silent atmosphere of the village night. This call of the Jhijhi insect brings a different dimension to nature, like a natural music. This insect does not cause any harm. I like to hear the call of this insect more on a moonlit night. I have noticed that on a bright night, if there is an insect on that day, I get a lot more pleasure.
