My entry to today's Monomad Challenge, Landscape shots.
The pictures I'm about to show you today have been taken quite some time ago, for some reason I left them forgotten in a folder on my computer, I call it maturing not to accept that I really forgot them, they are dated August 22, 2024 and were taken with the kit lens of the Canon M50, the EF-M 15-45mm F/3.5-6.3, one of the lenses that has a bad reputation for being a kit lens, but it can really give you good surprises for its versatility, especially in video, which is where its features shine the most.
I remember well that day, I accompanied an uncle to the land to help him to maintain the agave, but like any good photographer the camera always comes with me wherever I go, it was a very hot afternoon and the light conditions were very changeable due to the clouds in the sky, something I wanted to take advantage of when taking the pictures to show a little drama and this was the result.
Let's start with the photograph that I liked the most, you will soon realize that this tree was the base of my compositions, everything revolves around it in one way or another, the amount of detail that the lens could get on the trunk of the tree impressed me a lot and later I will show you this color photograph, my bad again.
The second photograph that I liked the most was right under the tree, there I found some work boots that surely some worker left there either forgotten or for the next work day, most of the time the lands are not fenced and you trust the neighbors, you can get into their lands and they into yours if necessary, in this case we understand that the shade of the tree is of common use and it is not uncommon to find objects like the boots, which for obvious reasons we leave there so that their owner can pick them up when he returns.

I couldn't miss the opportunity to take a vertical photograph, not the best option I think for a landscape, but strangely enough they work.
And the last photograph, which because it is at the end it doesn't mean that I liked it the least, it was the first photograph of that afternoon and it was the one with which I started to warm up my photographic eye, the truth is that it represents quite well the landscape I was in.
We end with the color photography that I mentioned at the beginning, I love black and white and often with seeing the tone in grayscale is easy to guess the true color of the scene, so for those who can not always do it, I think a good idea to leave a sample color photo, so you can play with your imagination to return and give a second look at the pictures, thanks for watching the post, see you in the next one.
Landscape photographs are beautiful, and yours are even more so—they could easily be used on postcards!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked them.
Thank you
