My experience of been a seamstress and how it is benefiting alot of people.

Hello Hive

Do you know that I can style you with whatever budget?
I can make you beautiful with even the smallest amount of money.
You really don't have to be rich to look good.
Maybe all you have is $2, so long as we can buy fabrics with that you are on you way to own some lovely outfit.

Sometimes learning a skill doesn't just end with yourself alone or probably for business sake and making money.
Been a volunteer worker at one or two organization has taught me about how I can use my knowledge to help others. I may not get any payment in return but it is very fulfilling.

I chose to learn sewing because I felt that it will be solely as my business and source of income when I become an expert, having learn the business of fashion, all I wanted to do was sew and receive quality money from my customers but now I feel very much fulfilled that I have sewn countless number of outfits for free, sewing for my friends, neighbors and people who cannot afford to cloth themselves.

Come December I will be visiting an orphanage with my team and guess what I am already making plans for their outfits, they need to look good for Christmas too.
So long as fabrics can be made available, I will happy to sew different designs. ( I really don't like to talk about this here and have never made mention of this subject but it is a part of my volunteering job)

When it comes to business, branding and making money from sewing I will definitely be determined about that, nevertheless it doesn't mean that we have to be too strict to sew for free once in a while.

Funniest part is that now I carry needles and thread with a small size scissors with me everywhere I go, you can never tell who will be the next victim of wardrobe malfunction 😀

And while taking care to cloth others I am not meant to forget myself am i? 😂 while preparing for church yesterday I noticed that haven't had any new outfit for church this year and its pass midyear already, meaning that I have been wearing the same series of outfits over and over again, I was tired of them and wanted to enter the church with a new look.

It was time to sew some church outfits but i don't want something boring either. A decent dress with some party look 😂😂😆😄, my little drama.

So what do you think of this

There is no new fabric in the house, haven't been to the market in a long while so I recycled some Work-in-progress (WIP) outfit into what I made here. I have turned the dress to an off-shoulder one with alot of decorative tulle.

My poor Camera girl, she doesn't know how to take good shot and still feels shy before the camera.

I had to help myself with some selfie and I hope you can manage my poor pictures.

Been a seamstress I could ripped off old garment, recycle them into latest fashion or trend.
Just make something beautiful out of every fabric.
Blue as favorite color and the color for royalty of course 💖❤
I could could have made this into a ball gown to have that princes feeling but when next I have enough fabrics.

Happy Needlework Monday Family it feels good to be here again ❤😍💖

This is so me😂, I even carry them to church as well alongside my bible🙈, no doubt I've helped save a lot of wardrobe malfunctions that I can't stop myself from carrying them around now, things we do for the passion.

Your dress looks beautiful as always dear, you are one strong woman worthy of emulation, and more blessings for your charitable deeds.

So sweet - and yes, I am also well-known for having, in the least, a safety-pin or suchlike in my bag at all times! :-D Thank goodness for handy women!

This is a beautiful blue dress you've made here! Being a seamstress means you'll hardly lack clothes to wear and you're free to create new designs with the help of your imagination.

Hello Monica :) How noble of you to sew for your loved ones and also as part of your volunteering. It is true that receiving money is gratifying, but it is also rewarding to do so out of a desire to do good to another. I liked this party outfit, and the blue color looks good. Congratulations ❤️.

What a beautiful work you do my friend, works that have no monetary price but a great spiritual satisfaction. God bless you for it.
As for this dress that you bring us to share is very nice. I love that shade of blue and you look beautiful, the print is very beautiful and with those blue ruffles made this garment a success. Congratulations, great job my friend. Cheers.
