Diy Sewing of a jumpsuit and trying out a style I never liked.

Hello Hive

Different dressing style and design of outfits fits us individually.
Sometimes I admire some designs from people when I go out only to come home and replicate the same style only to see that it doesn't really fit me much.

Dresses may look good on some people
While for others a jumpsuit like this one is perfect.

This is how I look in a jumpsuit, is it a yeah or Nay from you my friend?
Let me hear of your opinions first
Better still, how do I look in a jumpsuit contrary to the dresses I often wear.

I have often found jumpsuit as beautiful but yet an inconvenient outfit, since there is no half length cut, it is difficult to use a restroom when putting in a jumpsuit, usually you have to remove the zipper from the top and pull down the upper bodice down to the joining of the pant before you can ease yourself.

That is almost like removing your entire.
Compared to wearing a dress where you just pull up the dress or a pant/skirt where you just pull down your pant to the hip length.

Eventually I got to sew this work in progress jumpsuit for myself and am loving it already but that one disadvantage keep making me not to wanna wear this out to a function that might take time just in case I want to use the rest room.

I have started sewing this awhile ago when I was training to be a seamstress but abandoned all the work when I was not getting it right.

Today, I am more experienced with sewing and reworked this all over again.

Pant block

I have cut my exact body measurement and trimmed off the excess before going to join the seams.

The neckline became wider than expected as the fabric overstretched.
It doesn't look good at all and I have to finds solution to this.

Then I remembered something.
In fashion Designing, pattern making makes it really easy to find solution to most sewing and drafting challenges.

Dart manipulation can be used to create new style or adjust sewing issues like the one I have.

To reduce the neckline width, I have introduced two front dart facing each other here.

I needed some ironing to make these life flat and beautiful.

The fabric gave me a hard time to sew, since it is really stretchy but it did bring out some shaped I thought I never had or mostly that my eyes are deceiving me🤓🤓🤓

In summary, am only asking us to endeavor to wear styles that fit our body shape.
If you are slim and admire an outfit on a thick person, they may not look exactly the same way on you when you replicate such designs.

Thanks for having me 🌺💃🤗❤💕

I love what you did to the neck, that was very creative, kudos
Btw the jumpsuit looks very okay on you, that's if you get rid of d constant disadvantage of jumpsuits 😅
Can't ease oneself with ease😁

I like the material you used for the jumpsuit, it looks somewhat stretchy. I personally like jumpsuit but the problem comes whenever I want to ease myself; it's a war😅.
This is a lovely jumpsuit.

It's a very pretty piece of clothing and I think it suits you very well, it's good that you were able to fix the neck :3, unfortunately not everything is gold hahaha the jumpsuit is a beautiful piece of clothing but going to the bathroom is not comfortable at all, that's why I like it a lot wearing a skirt, everything is faster and more comfortable hahaha, but sometimes you have to choose between being pretty or being comfortable

I'd never wear it myself...
....but a very good looking piece of clothing.

Well done :)

Thank you Jason...
I will never get used to calling you by name.
Hope the tooth pain feels better today.

Perfectly normal for me.

Now I never get used to having @emreal call me sir. Remember the first time someone called me Sir in typing class almost 40 years ago. Didn't like it then, not fond of it now. Almost as bad as when people call me Doctor at my work. I'm Jason or Jay....no more, no less.

As for the tooth. Better, yes. Healed, no.

Day by day it will get better. Just have to let God and Time do their thing.
