It might not be possible to celebrate every birthday but there are some specific birthday s that we need to pay key attention to.
I have heard of people celebrate golden and silver Jubilee and I believe that entrance into teenage years should be worth celebrating too.

These specific timings are meant to be marked and kept as special memories. My niece here was super excited to enter into teenage year. Been the first daughter of my sister she wanted to lay a solid foundation and a good start into adulthood for her daughter. A good start will make her a role model for her younger siblings. Let's grow our children in love, care and understanding, they grow up to become polite, respectfully and lovable citizen.

She has bothered her mother so much that she wanted this years birthday to be different unlike in the past years. The economy is a bit hard and these little do not really understand while her mum was hoping for a miracle the Dad showed up yesterday and surprisingly he got her a birthday cake.
The dad has been away for a while and hadn't informed them of his coming. It was a perfect timing.

But what about the outfit for the day.

I have been unwell for the past 48hrs and had been on bed rest and medication. I was worried that I won't be able to make her a dress and I had barely little strength.
The moment she came and noticed that I was ill and won't be able to make her a dress she came right by my bed and started praying for my healing.

"God please heal my aunty so that she can make a dress for me" , those were her words, I choked with laughter that my teenager is still childish though 😃😀

At this point I had no choice but to get up and do something. I took a bottle of energy drink 🍷 and got to work. I sent for a yard of satin material and the paper stay for $1.5 there is no need to buy expensive fabrics since I had some left over from a previous project and with inflation things are really expensive, besides we aren't financially prepared for this.

Even on a low budget I want to make some colorful moments for her.

I went ahead to sew this adding some pleating on the from block.

This golden accessory was handy and I used it to closed up the stiches and add some decoration to her dress.

Then it was time for some photos.
Her mum wasn't prepared for a photo this morning and was looking unkept having been putting the house together.
I took a yarn cap with me and dressed her up a bit so that she can make memory with her daughter

The smile on their faces was everything for me, even though I was exhausted and weak, this meant everything for me.
Besides you really don't need plenty of money or be wealthy before you can make your children happy.
