Monitor Lizard photography

Hello Photography Lovers Hope you are well wherever you are. I stayed at home today. I went to the canal next to my house which is now full of water. This canal was dry a few days ago but now the flood water has filled the canal and many water hyacinths have entered.

As soon as I went to this canal and stood there, I saw a huge moniter lizard sleeping there. I did not have my camera with me, I first came home to get my camera and quickly went there with my camera and took some photos of this lizard. I am sharing the photos below and hope you enjoy them.

The giant monitor lizard is looking at me, checking if I am someone dangerous

It is relaxing on a tree trunk

If we look at its tail, we will see that it is flattened and gradually becoming slimmer.

There are very large claws on the back legs with which the lizard is gripping the tree trunk

Here is the whole lizard shown

The front legs are hanging in front of the tree trunk

The lizard moved, probably it sensed danger, now it needs to go to a safe place

The full part of the lizard that sensed danger, it turned itself around.

The lizard has moved a lot and has made a complete decision to run away.

The last scene of the monitor lizard hiding itself. Here we have monitor lizards that live by eating chicks and eggs. These lizards are very fat and big. People want to kill these lizards when they see them, so the lizards live very carefully. Sometimes the lizards get sick. Still, some lizards survive and we can see them in different places
