Egg Hunter Bird

Hello,, Feathered Friend Community,

Hope you are well wherever you are. It was a beautiful morning when the birds were singing all around. I woke up after doing my morning chores and went out with my camera in hand when only the sun started to spread its light. The fresh and pollution-free morning air was all around from which I was getting a lot of oxygen. I entered the empty field and there was no one else there but the birds had already come out in search of food. Some birds were sitting idly in the middle of the field, unable to overcome their sleepiness but singing in their beaks. I headed towards a Pond Heron bird which was sitting in the middle of the field hunting. As soon as I approached it, the bird ran away and sat on an electric wire. As soon as I looked in that direction, I saw a crow with an egg in its beak and sat on a bamboo. I quickly took a few photos, but the bird ran away within a few moments. Birds run away, they think that people with cameras are their enemies. But how do I make them understand that I am not their enemy?

The egg is much bigger than the crow's beak, so the crow is having a hard time holding this egg, such an expression appears in its eyes

The wire on which the crow is sitting provides electricity to run the farmer's pump, behind the crow is the main line which is three phase.

I did not know that the crow's beak is also designed to hold eggs, I knew before that crows can only eat eggs and do not run away with eggs.

I do not understand why the crow was sitting here with eggs because to eat eggs, a flat place is needed.

This egg is probably a duck egg, here the duck owners release their ducks into the field for food. The ducks eat snails and grains there. At this time, some ducks lay eggs. If the said eggs are seen by the crow, the crow steals them to eat. Or the crow stole the egg from the duck owner's egg basket when the duck owner moved away from the egg basket for a moment. In any case, we can call the crow an egg hunter.

What a fascinating birdwatching moment! 🐦📸 The story of the crow with the egg is both amusing and insightful. It really captures the clever and opportunistic nature of crows. Great observation and lovely way of describing the scene—you made us feel like we were right there in the field with you
