Nature Observer | Blue Flies And Yellow Crickets Are The Targets
It was raining at our place this afternoon, and my friends and I failed to hunt for insects and mushrooms. Even though this afternoon we had agreed to look for insects.
Finally, after almost an hour of rain, the sky started to clear again and I went around behind the house alone looking for insects. I didn't get many insects, maybe because of the rain the insects had entered their nests.
I just bought a new macro lens because my old lens was too small. I tried a few shots with my new lens, it was quite difficult to adjust to this new lens. Here are some pictures I got. How do you think about the quality of my new lenses?
The first object I got was a fly. According to Wikipedia, in Latin this fly is called "Chrysomya Megacephala" or better known as the oriental latrine fly or oriental blue fly, this blue-black fly is a member of the Calliphoridae family. We often see these flies in trash cans or carcasses, this type of fly likes things that smell bad.
The second insect I found was a cricket. In Latin, this cricket is called Roesel's bush-cricket, We often find this type of cricket in the bushes, usually it perches on the leaves and this cricket is a type of insect that is not afraid of human disturbance. We can photograph it easily.

the color of the cricket was so cool, I could see its eyes up close.
Look carefully into his eyes, you'll fall in love. Crickets like this are good food for arowana fish. 😂
Some of the photos look clear and I like them but prefer the red eye fly
