Semi-Artificial Goldfish Spawning Procent By Injecting Ovaprim Liquid

Hello all friends, How are you today, hopefully we are still in good health and can participate in activities smoothly.

On this happy occasion, I would like to display some of the pictures in my article about the goldfish spawning activity that we did with practical students.we do goldfish spawning with semi-artificial spawning techniques. semi-artificial selection is the process of spawning goldfish assisted by humans or there is special treatment by human hands.natural goldfish spawning, namely the process of moving carp by injecting fish with a stimulating hormone, The hormone we use is the ovaprim hormone at a dose of 0.5 ml / Kg.

The purpose of carrying out semi-artificial goldfish spawning is so that the fish spawn quickly,Before spawning, of course, we also have to prepare the gonads first.

The characteristics of the parent fish that have matured the gonads:

  • Male, if we massage in the stomach of a male goldfish, a thick white liquid will come out. If the liquid comes out, we can spawn the male goldfish.

  • Female, We can also see that the female parent of a carp that has matured the gonads when we massage the abdomen will release eggs, and this is a sign that the fish have mature gonads and We can already do spawning.

The materials and tools that we use in goldfish spawning are ponds for spawning, brooders that are ready to be spawned,Kakaban or palm fiber as a place to attach eggs when released by the mother carp,Fishing nets for taking carp, Ovaprim and Suktik, And other equipment such as fiber cloth basins for blindfolds and others.

The way to make the selection is:

Before being injected, the mother fish will be weighed first so that we know the dose of ovaprim needed by the mother fish. The ovaprim liquid that has been put into the syringe is then mixed with distilled water. The purpose of this mixing is so that the refaquin liquid is not attached and more liquid to make it easier to enter the fish meat. The injection is done on the back close to the head at the top. After making the injection, the fish are then put into the spawning pond that has been arranged with the kakaban.Usually, after the fish is released, it takes about 8 to 12 hours for the fish to release eggs and the male fish also sprays his sperm on the eggs that have been released by the female parent.Where we work, usually in the goldfish spawning process we do a 1 to 1 ratio, which means one male parent and one female parent.

After the broodstock spawned and released eggs, then we moved the two goldfish to another pond. So that the mother who has spawned does not eat the eggs that have been released. After the mother spawns, of course the mother is very hungry, so we have to move to another pool so that the eggs that have been released can be safe and not eaten.

All right, friends, below, we can see that there are several pictures when we were carrying out injection activities or semi-artificial goldfish spawning activities.

Some of the pictures above are my pictures and also some pictures of students who are practicing where we work. We were very excited that day in participating in our activity, namely conducting semi-spawning goldfish.

Some of the pictures above are also pictures of some students who practice here and that day we did environmental cleaning or gotong royong. Every day we try to make activities that can be useful for us and also to add to our knowledge.I am very happy with them because they are very diligent students and they are majoring in their field of study, which is majoring in aquaculture. And they must know the techniques for cultivating fresh water fish as well as brackish water fish as well as sea water.

All right, all friends, that's the image display that I can show today, hopefully with some of these pictures can make all friends entertained and become beautiful pictures for us to see. A big thank you to all my friends who have given me the spirit and opportunity and are healthy and happy today I can still display pictures in my activities with students. That's all for today and see you later in my next post.
