Harvesting Chili Plants In My Best Friend's Garden
Hello friends, how are you today, hopefully we are all still in good health and can participate in activities smoothly.
On the occasion of Today I would like to display some pictures about my going to a chili garden. Because there is a friend of mine. He has a chili field and he asked me to go to his garden one day. He had already started harvesting his chilies and by the time I visited his garden, of course he had already harvested the five times he did. I see the location of this chili garden is very good and the stalks of the chili can also bear very heavy fruit and this is a small type of chili. The number of chilies he planted was around 1500, I think this is quite a lot and very good for him to continue his business.
All right, all friends here. I will discuss a little about how he planted the chilies. Indeed, in the field of agriculture, chili plants are one of the plants that are always avoided by agricultural entrepreneurs because chili cultivation can certainly generate extraordinary profits. The price of chili in the market is of course very expensive and very suitable for business development to cultivate laurels. Chili cultivation requires knowledge that can make chili plants successful and of course we shouldn't try it if we don't have knowledge and experience.
If you want to cultivate chilies, we must first prepare land with good soil fertility, if we already have land, of course we have to prepare the soil for planting these chilies and there are some people who just plant them, they don't make the soil crumble like that and there are also those who make a burst of soil that slightly curved upwards which is very good then put paper so that not a lot of weeds grow around the chili tree when it is planted.
The function of putting paper on the chili plant land is very much, one of which is to minimize the growth of weeds around the plant and the second is to maintain the soil moisture level around the chili tree. So if we don't use this paper, of course it will be very difficult for us to clean the grass that grows around these plants. After installing the paper, then the paper is punched according to needs and usually people punch holes in the paper using a can, then the can is heated and placed on the paper, the paper will be shaped like a round hole. Then, in the hollow place, the chili plants which had been sown in polybags were planted.
Actually, in the cultivation of chili plants, if people who already have experience, of course they already know how to care for it and how the level of fertilizer needed by the chili tree and the level of soil moisture needed by the stem of the chili tree. So I was very interested when I saw my friend succeed in distinguishing this little chili plant. He once taught me to help him in the process of harvesting chilies, but I don't have any expert knowledge in the field of chili cultivation, but my friend, he has indeed been involved in the chili planting business several times.
Usually, after 4 months of age, the chili plants can already be harvested or harvested. In cultivating small chilies, the harvesting process is very long because we only manually produce the small chilies one by one. Usually my friend who cultivates chili plants when harvesting. He asks for help from several people to help harvest chilies. Usually those invited are mothers and also other teenagers or other youths. And after the chili fruit pickers are said to have finished doing their job, the results of what they picked are weighed and will be paid according to the per kg they picked. Things like this are also very good because in the business he sees this chili can also create jobs for other people. All right, friends, let's take a look at some of the pictures that I have prepared.
We can see that the stems of my best friend's chili tree are indeed very good and bear fruit heavily and very much. There are fruits that are already red and ready to be harvested, and there are some that are not yet ripe. Those that are still green.
The tree trunks are also large and grow very fertile, and at that time I once asked my friend the owner of the garden about the distance between the chili trees. So because the land is not too large and he has a lot of chili seeds, he sows them in polybags. So he planted chili trees in his garden a little closer, which is about 45 cm. And he said a distance of 45 cm is a close distance and he usually plants 50 to 60 cm.In the treatment process he also calculates the fertilizer requirements for these plants, so that these plants can thrive.
When harvesting they pick manually by hand, Indeed, this takes a long time because we pick the chilies one by one on the stem and we also see us picking the red or ripe ones. They brought a scale and after they picked the chilies they put them in the waste. When I went to their garden, they were alone picking chilies that day and on other days there were usually other people picking like the women who live close to the gardens.
All right, friends, that's what I can discuss about the chili plants cultivated by my friend and I am very grateful that he can reap the benefits, which we can say is quite a lot.Indeed he is very diligent in carrying out his duties and takes great care of his plants, hopefully in the future the farmers will always be successful and they are extraordinary agricultural farmers. That's all from me on this occasion and don't forget my thanks to all my friends who have given me the enthusiasm and opportunity so that I can still share my articles.

Wow! Those chilis sure grew to a tree size. I never managed this in my climate! Good tip about the paper to stop weeds and keep moisture in 💙
Yes, friends, the function of paper for agricultural land is indeed a lot. Thanks for the comments.
