Community Activists on the Beach

Hello everyone, how are you all today? I hope we're all healthy and able to continue our activities smoothly.

On Friday, July 19, 2025, I'd like to share some of the images I photographed while I was at the beach and saw fishermen catching fish along the shore. The people in this area, where I visited, are constantly engaged in fishing activities on the beach and at sea.

Obviously, watching their activities made me very happy and wanted to capture some images of them. I was sitting at a tourist spot near their activities, drinking coffee, and took out my camera to capture some images from a distance.

Their catch is usually sold to markets in the Dewantara sub-district, North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia. They catch fish using wide trawl nets, and when they haul the nets to the shore, they often catch several types of fish in the net bags.
