Dear Hive lovers, our Bangladesh is an agricultural country, most of the people in this country work in agriculture, farmers cultivate various crops in the land, the main one in these photos is paddy cultivation, most of the farmers cultivate paddy in their land, paddy is cultivated as the main crop in our Bangladeshi crop land.
When paddy is cultivated in the land, various types of insects can be seen, one of them is a grass-eating insect, which we can call a locust or a grasshopper, which is called a grasshopper in English, the picture that I am sharing with you today is a grasshopper in a paddy field, these locusts are very harmful to crops.
The locusts have long legs, with which they can jump, and with the help of this grasshopper they jump and go very far, they have two tails, these locusts are usually green or brown in color, we usually see them in paddy or wheat fields, they can damage the crops of these lands.
The photographs of locusts or grasshoppers that I am sharing with you today were taken from the cropland next to our house. When rice is cultivated in the cropland and the rice plants are growing, these locusts or grasshoppers are more visible. They easily jump long distances and fly.
