Yellow Tulip Macro Photography

Tulips have some really intricate and delicate features that are fun to capture close up. I decided to explore these details with my macro lens and see how much of these features I could capture. The other challenge comes with he color yellow as it can be a challenging color to expose properly, even slight variations of the colors can easily appear washed out. Even different qualities of resolutions and screens can make it hard to see the details in a yellow, especially bright ones such as these.

I actually have a couple of different monitors I can view these on which can help give me an idea of how the detail stands out in the colorful petals. One screen is 1440p resolution or 2K as it is sometimes known. The other screen is 4k resolution, both of which are able to show a higher level of colors compared to a Full HD or 1080p screen. That is where it can be really worth while to have a better monitor for photo editing, and I found as I learned more about photography over the years it helps give you an idea of what others will see on their own screens when you post things like these images.
