Yellow Flower Petals Macro

The many delicate layers of flower petals on this flower had a certain softness to them. Almost like several blankets stacked together, I wonder what it would be like to lie on top of these flowers. The thin slices remind me of something edible as well; maybe I am thinking of the candy flowers that sometimes adorn cakes or other baked goods. There are many qualities visually here that appeal to me and make me both relaxed and perhaps even a little hungry, strangely.
