Weaselhead Flats
Weaselhead is an area in the southwest bordering the edge of Calgary. It feeds into the Glenmore Reservoir and has many little streams that create a landscape unlike anything else I have seen here in Calgary. The vantage point from the hills that overlook this spot gives a great view. Wetlands and tall grass eventually give way to forest, and this creates a lot of variety of nature that can all be experienced even on a short hike.
