The Elusive Red Panda

The red pandas at the Calgary Zoo can be quite elusive. Many times I have gone and not seen them anywhere, or they might be sleeping. This was almost one of those times, as I had come to check twice and found no activity, then for a brief moment this one emerged and went up into the house to have a snack. For a few minutes he munched on the leaves before doing a little light grooming, and just like that, back to resting. So I call this one a partial victory, as they are among my favorite animals to view, so even a few minutes is quite a treat.
