Seagull Perched on a Rock

I have said it before, but I do find seagulls to be very photogenic. They have sort of a distinguished look about them, not quite like an eagle, but still somehow they radiate an aura of refinement. The way their feathers go from white to grey to black in many gradations is actually a good test to see how well you can expose all of them without either washing out the whites or losing detail in the blacks.
