Old bridge post
This is an old support from a bridge that used to span the Bow River in the early to mid-1900s. There isn't much else left, and the more modern concrete bridge has been around long enough that it's all people remember. I wasn't around when this original bridge was still standing and in use, but because of this remnant of a support post, I was able to learn about the previous bridge and its existence. I wonder how much longer this post will be around. Will it outlast me?
