Monomad: White-handed Gibbon
Generally found in Southeast Asia, these monkeys prefer to live around 1200 meters above sea level. They will spend most of their time in the trees, very rarely coming down to the forest floor. Known for being monogamous, they will live in small family groups with a male, female, and juvenile. Their arms are much longer than their legs, and their hands are also elongated; much of their travel involves moving from tree to tree.

love that you pointed out they barely touch the ground, sticking to the canopy like pros. that makes their whole lifestyle click and and shows why moving branch to branch is their thing. kinda like the floor is lava up there. defintely adds to their calm family vibe in the treetops.
