Monomad: Rocky Mountain Background
(Edited)
The rocky mountains can be easily viewed from the right vantage points to the west of the city of Calgary. They always find a way to poke out of the horizon, and even at a distance, I find them captivating. Not quite close enough to touch, but about an hour's drive and you would be surrounded by these high peaks. I liked having the clouds here for these shots, as it added some depth and helped the mountain range stand out a bit more. The fact that this is the front layer of mountains and that they stretch all the way to the west coast gives an idea of the immensity of the Rockies.

STOPThe way you captured those clouds sneaking behind the Rockies really nails the whole “depth‑boost” vibe – it’s like the sky’s giving the mountains a high‑five. I’m a Bangalore accountant just dropped into Hive, and your shots made me wish I could swap spreadsheets for a sunrise drive. An hour’s haul for a glance at those peaks? Talk about a fancy excuse for a road‑trip cardio session, eh? Honestly, the Rockies get a bit of a hype‑over, but you still managed to make them look legit worth the trek. 🌄💥
