Monomad: North Glenmore Park Landscapes

This is North Glenmore Park facing the Weaselhead Natural Area, which is part forest and also a large wetland ecosystem on the southwestern edge of Calgary. It's a great place to be outdoors; it's not too hard to get to, as you don't even leave the city, and it's near major roads but still can feel far enough away from everything that it is peaceful. I like to find nice scenic scenes here and also look for wildlife. If your patient has a sharp eye, it won't be too hard to find some here. The lone Great Blue Heron in the bottom image was standing in pretty much the same spot for over an hour.
