Monomad: Elbow Falls in the Winter
When I see snow-covered forests and mountains, I find there is almost a mystical feel that I get. Especially if some fog or mist is present, it's out in the middle of nowhere, and the only sounds you might hear are the wind. This is at Elbow Falls, about an hour or so outside of Calgary, a really popular place for people to visit; even in the winter there were some signs of activity even though I didn't see any people around. The landscape usually had even more trees but a major flood the year before had flattened them and this was my first time being here after that so it was a bit surprising to seethe the changes.
