Monomad: Cemetery Statue Up Close

I'm not really a religious person, but I do admire some of the imagery. Statues also seem to be something that draws me in; if I have a camera with me, then it is rare that I don't go and spend some time taking pictures. It can be similar to portraiture, although the advantage is the subject never moves. That might also create challenges in getting a variety of shots that look different. I find that is where light and shadow come in; you can move around, you can try different tricks to block the light, and you can even wait for the sun to change position or some clouds to come along, and all of a sudden the dynamic changes.
