Monomad: Calgary Comic Expo 2026 Opening Ceremonies

The opening ceremony for the 2026 version of the Calgary Expo was a fun event; it took place near the grand staircase just outside the newly enlarged and renovated BMO Center. This is the 2nd year of being in the updated facility, and I think they did a great job utilizing it this year. Cosplayers and spectators gathered outside while a DJ played many different pop culture-related songs, and people relished in their various fandoms. Seeing and hearing knights jump around to Gangnam Style in full armor is something I won't soon forget. It seemed like everyone was in the mood to have a great weekend, and this marked a very good start to it.
