Monomad: Building Fronts Downtown Calgary

On Calgary's historic Stephen Avenue, there is a mix of some original storefronts and some of the newer, more modern-style buildings. I think in taking a small handful of shots like this I have inspired a future project of trying to capture more of these types of shots along the avenue. This is for the most part a pedestrian-friendly spot that runs right through the core of downtown. It features early 1900s architecture, which goes back to the earliest beginnings of Calgary's ascent from outpost to town to city.
