Macro Photography Focus Stack First Successful Attempt

This is my first successful focus stack image. It is a compilation of 50 different images with a slightly different focus on each shot. Shooting up close with a macro lens, you tend to get some very shallow depths of field; with the focus stack, almost everything is sharp. The file that was created is a TIFF file of 271 MB, which is huge for one image. The jpeg that I have converted for display is still 49.5 MB, which is about the same size as a RAW file from my 45.7-megapixel Nikon Z8. For this post I had to further reduce the file size to around 5 MB. Exciting times to be able to do this without too much trouble. I had a few failures with some trial and error to get this one to work.
