Macro Insect

I sometimes see these little creatures hanging on to my screen door. I'm not sure what type of insect this is, but it has some neat features when you get up close. The 2 giant orange eyes atop its head give some character to this little bug. The vertical shots are of the position I found this little winged critter in; however, when I turned them horizontal, the little leg that's reaching out became more prominent. This bug clung for over an hour here, so I wonder if this was some kind of resting state, which with an outstretched appendage the whole time makes this even weirder.
