Highway to Canmore

Canmore is a mountain town west of Calgary; it's where the Rockies begin, and along the way you see the foothills. The highway there is a very scenic drive with many types of landscapes eventually giving way to the mountain terrain. Calgary is fairly hilly, and as you go west, the hills are fairly large and prominent. There will be a few falter patches, but it's not long before these hills come back and you see the mountains in the background grow larger and larger just over the horizon. Once you get there, then it's almost like these mountains stretch forever along with all the adventures.
