Helmeted Guineafowl

The Helmeted Guineafowl at the Calgary Zoo looks very much like a turkey. They tend to be highly social and are ground-dwelling birds that often move in tight-knit flocks called bands. They are also commonly kept on farms for pest control, as they are effective at eating many types of bugs.
