Fish Creek Provincial Park

One thing I've learned going on nature hikes to do photography is that when I go to larger parks and nature areas, don't expect everything to just happen. The birds might not be out, the animals may be hiding, and the bugs are not around. That all changes when you slow down and enjoy the adventure. Somehow taking time to stop places will help you spot more. Rushing around makes it harder to really see a scene the way you could by being patient. So even if I take a trip to Fish Creek like I did here and feel like I am not seeing much, I know that since I took my time, I actually saw more than I would have if I kept moving looking for something that might not even be there.
