Downtown Calgary Street Photography

I always enjoy coming downtown; even as the old gives way to the new, there is always something visually appealing to me. New construction, as I have seen my whole life in a city that is always growing. Hints of the past and reminders of how it felt like as a teenager looking for some excitement downtown. Stone gave way to metal and glass as the towers grew bigger, but the foundations will always be here anytime I can look at a sandstone structure that has been here for a century or more.
