Downtown Calgary Alleyway

An alley around 1st Street SW between 7th and 8th Ave. Plenty of character and many dark stories—not a place you want to walk down at night or in the day for that matter, but I wasn't worried. The wall mural is what first caught my eye; there was a fenced-off area just before this with some construction going on, so I had to get closer to get a good shot. I turned to my right, and there were so many cars parked and a couple of guys who looked like they were finishing up a service job walking to their work van. As I entered the alleyway, I expected I might encounter a few homeless people, which didn't bother me, what I saw were many clusters of them, and I knew likely some other activities were going on, but when it comes down to it, I minded my business and didn't take any pictures of them and was able to get the shots I wanted of the buildings that lined the alleyway.
